Monkey Kidz International Preschool – Rules, Regulations & Terms of Admission
At Monkey Kidz International Preschool, we strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment for all our students. The following policies are designed to ensure the smooth functioning of the school and the well-being of every child. Admission and continued enrollment are subject to acceptance and compliance with the terms below.
All parents and guardians are deemed to have read and agreed to these rules at the time of admission.
1. Restricted Entry for Parents
To promote independence and confidence in young children, parents and guardians are strictly not allowed to remain on school premises during class hours, except during officially scheduled events or meetings. This helps maintain a calm and focused environment for all students.
2. Student Settlement and Crying Policy
During the initial days, our team supports children through the settling process. However, if a child cries continuously for over 30 minutes after the first few days of school, we may request the parent to take the child home for the day. Parents are not permitted to stay with the child on campus during school hours under any circumstances.
3. Respectful Conduct Toward Staff and Administration
We have a zero-tolerance policy for misbehavior or verbal abuse directed at our staff, teachers, or administration by any parent, guardian, or caregiver. Such conduct may result in immediate termination of the student’s admission to protect the safety and dignity of our team and the school community.
4. Observation & School Readiness Evaluation
Each newly admitted child undergoes a short observation period, during which our educators assess the child’s comfort, adaptability, and readiness for a structured preschool setting. If a child is found to be not yet developmentally ready to benefit from the school’s routine, the school reserves the right to withdraw the student’s admission in the best interest of both the child and the classroom environment.
5. Refund and Fee Policy
All fees paid at the time of admission—including tuition, admission fees, and learning materials—are non-refundable. In rare cases where the school initiates the withdrawal of a student during the observation period, a partial refund may be considered for the unused books and the current month’s fee, subject to the return of materials in good condition. No refunds will be issued for any other reason, including inability to settle in school, to ensure the school’s resources and learning environment are not disrupted.
7. Medical Conditions and Special Care Requirements
While our staff is trained to handle minor illnesses and provide first aid, if a child has repeated episodes of vomiting or exhibits medical conditions that require ongoing parental attention, and this continues for a prolonged period (exceeding one month), the school may determine that the child is not yet ready for a structured preschool environment. In such cases, and in the interest of maintaining the well-being and uninterrupted learning of all students, the school reserves the right to discontinue the child's admission.
8. Acknowledgment and Compliance
By admitting your child to Monkey Kidz International Preschool, it is understood that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the above rules and regulations. Any violation of these terms—whether by the child or the parent/guardian—may result in suspension or expulsion from the preschool at the sole discretion of the school management.
